Aerophone AE-20, AE-20W: How do I play this instrument as an external MIDI sound module from a DAW?

The Aerophone AE-20/AE-20W can be played from a DAW via USB-MIDI, triggering the instrument's internal sound engine from the DAW.

1. Connect the AE-20/AE-20W to a computer using the included USB cable (Type-C to Type-A).
   A data transfer cable is required; charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
2. Set the MIDI output channel of the DAW track to match the MIDI channel of the part to play on the AE-20/AE-20W.
   The MIDI receive channel of the AE-20/AE-20W cannot be changed. For details, see "How do I change the MIDI channel?"
3. Play back the MIDI track in the DAW.
