Here's a few troubleshooting items if you're unable to get sound to be output from headphones (or earphones) that are connected to the R-07.
- Connect the headphones to the
jack of the R-07.
- Use the output volume buttons to adjust the headphone volume
. - Be sure that the headphones are 3-pole mini-stereo type headphones:
The R-07 is not compatible with headphones (or earphones) that have 4-pole or 5-pole miniature phone plugs. - If recording, be sure that the R-07 is in record-standby mode (blinking red) or is in recording (lit red) in order to hear audio.
. Press the record button once for record-standby and twice to record. - While in record-standby or while recording, be sure to turn up the input level
so that the input meter averages between -12 and -6 on the audio meter:
