When you experience uneven volume on hits of the same strength, or missed hits, on a digital pad (such as the PD-140DS or CY-18DR) connected to the Roland TD-27, try resetting the pad's trigger parameters to default.
- Press the [SYSTEM] button.
The SYSTEM screen appears. - Use the cursor buttons to select “TRIGGER” and press [ENTER] button.
The TRIGGER MENU screen appears. - Use the cursor buttons to select “DIGITAL” and press [ENTER] button.
The DIGITAL TRIGGER IN screen appears. - Press the [F5] (ADVANCED) button.
The DIGITAL TRIGGER ADVANCED screen appears. - Strike the digital pad you want to reset.
- Press the [F5] (DEFAULT) button.
- Select "OK" and press the [ENTER] button.
"Completed" appears briefly. - Press the [DRUM KIT] button to exit the Trigger menu when you're finished.
Note: Some hi-hat parameters (Offset, Foot Splash Sens, Noise Cancel, CC MAX), XStick Threshold, and XTalk Cancel Rate do not reset with this operation.
