BOSS TONE EXCHANGE is an online platform for sharing Livesets created with compatible BOSS products and BOSS TONE STUDIO. A Liveset, also called a patch or memory depending on your product, can be downloaded from BOSS TONE EXCHANGE and added to your BOSS gear using BOSS TONE STUDIO, as follows:
- Sign in with your Roland account
- Narrow down by category (Multi Effects, Guitar Synthesizer, Amplifier) and model name, choose the Liveset from the list, then click <Download>.
Example: - Access the BOSS Support - Updates & Drivers page, then download and install both BOSS TONE STUDIO and the driver for your product.
- Import the file that you downloaded in Step 2.
Note: The following example shows how to import the file using the GX-100. For details, check the BOSS TONE STUDIO Owner's Manual for your product. Owner's manual download page: BOSS - Support - Owner's Manuals- Launch BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-100.
- In the TONE STUDIO screen, click the [LIBRARIAN] button.
- At the top of the TONE STUDIO screen, click the [Import] button.
- Click the [FILE] button.
The “Open” dialog box appears. - Select the liveset file (extension: .tsl) that you want to import into the library, and click <Open>.
The liveset is imported into LIBRARIAN. - Switch Memory Select to USER.
- Drag any memory from the liveset you imported in step 4, and drop it onto any user memory.
