Here's how to adjust the preamp level for an input channel so that the input level is optimized for recording.
- Press the CHANNEL buttons to select an input channel.
- Use the SENS knob to adjust the preamp gain. Clockwise raises the preamp gain and counter-clockwise lowers the preamp gain.
- Set the SENS knob so that input level averages around 12 on the volume meter. This is a good starting point for input volume.
