On the SPD-SX PRO, carrying the unit or similar handling may cause the rubber on pads [1]–[3] to lift, creating gaps and bumps. If this happens, follow the steps below or watch the video to reattach the rubber.
- Place the SPD-SX PRO on a stable and flat surface.
Turn off the power of the SPD-SX PRO and unplug any cables to ensure work safety. -
If only part of the rubber is becoming loose from the base, pinch and lift up the center of the rubber piece to remove it completely.

Push the piece out evenly with your fingers, starting from the sides and moving towards the center.
Make sure to use both hands to do this. -
Make certain that there are no gaps and that the rubber is not coming loose, and be sure that the rubber is completely fit into place.
This is easier to check when the power is turned on and the PAD LEDs are lit up.
