SPD-SX PRO: I see the message “USB Memory Media Error!”, and I can’t use the USB flash drive.

If you see the message “USB Memory Media Error!” when you try to use the USB flash drive on the SPD-SX PRO, the USB flash drive may not be correctly formatted.

Follow the steps below to format the media.

1. Use your computer to reformat the media in FAT32 format.
   When formatting on a Mac, format the media as “MS-DOS (FAT)”.
2. Follow the steps in “Formatting a USB Flash Drive (FORMAT)” to initialize the USB flash drive.
   If you try to use a USB flash drive that hasn’t been initialized in FAT32 format, the message “Format USB Memory Error!” is shown and the media can’t be initialized.
