Check the note number and MIDI channel being transmitted from your external MIDI device. To play the waves of the SPD-SX PRO from an external MIDI device, the note numbers and MIDI channels on both the transmitting end (the external MIDI device) and the receiving end (each pad) must match.
If you can't change the note number and MIDI channel on your external MIDI device, change them on the SPD-SX PRO.
- You can check and edit the note number assigned to each pad from "NOTE NO.", and the MIDI channel assigned to each pad from "CHANNEL". For details, refer to “Configuring the MIDI-Related Settings (KIT MIDI)”.
- When CHANNEL is set to "GLOBAL", the channel specified in the SYSTEM MIDI "Global MIDI Channel" settings is used for transmitting/receiving. For details, refer to “Configuring the Overall MIDI Settings for the SPD-SX PRO (SYSTEM MIDI)”.
