On the SPD-SX PRO, you can import an audio file (WAV/AIFF/MP3) from a USB flash drive or from your computer as a wave. You can switch between wave name view and wave filename view on the WAVE LIST screen or in the WAVE SELECT window.
Wave name
Wave names are used for managing the samples that you’ve imported. Wave numbers and names are automatically added to the waves you import.
- The first 16 characters of the source audio filename are used as the wave name.
- Wave names can be edited on the SPD-SX PRO or in the SPD-SX PRO APP.
Wave filename
The wave filename is the original filename for the import source audio file. These cannot be edited on the SPD-SX PRO or in the SPD-SX PRO APP.
