The following BOSS EV Expression Pedals can be connected to the EXP PEDAL jack on the back of the KATANA-50 MkII and EX amp models.
Please connect using a 1/4" TRS stereo cable for proper expression pedal, CV/Control Voltage transfer.

- BOSS EV-5, EV-30, FV-500H or FV-500L
The EV-5 is hardwired with a - 1/4" TRS stereo cable lead.
The EV-30 includes a single - 1/4" TRS stereo cable (1m / 3ft length).
The FV-500H/L don't include a TRS cable, is sold/purchased separately.
Once you've connected your BOSS EV expression pedal, check and set the MIN KNOB value to absolute zero/minimum for a full expression range sweep.
You can use your foot to control the EV expression pedal to vary the amp volume.
If necessary, go back and readjust the MIN KNOB, to a user custom value.
Note: Unfortunately, we can't guarantee proper functionality or performance if using a 3rd party other brand expression pedal.
