When setting up your KATANA MKII amp (including: KATANA-50 / 50 EX / 100 / HEAD / ARTIST / ARTIST-HEAD), it is useful to know how to gain-stage your audio signal.
We need to make sure that the volume going into the BOOST is the same when the BOOST is engaged. When the BOOST is engaged, the volume should be the same going into the Compressor.
In doing so, we can avoid unnaturally distorting the KATANA MKII audio signal chain.
Please first make sure that your volume is the same whether the BOOST is engaged, or not.
Once you have done this, do the same with the MOD: COMP/Compressor, engaged.
If the LEVEL, on the BOOST is too high, the signal will become harsh and lose clarity.
