With certain combinations of the KATANA-AIR system program version and BTS for KATANA-AIR version, "COMMUNICATION ERROR" may appear and the connection cannot be established. Some features may also be unavailable depending on the version combination.

Update the KATANA-AIR system program and BTS for KATANA-AIR to the latest version.
To check the current version, follow the steps below.
System program version for KATANA-AIR and KATANA-AIR EX
- Turn all knobs on the top panel fully counterclockwise.
- Turn off the amplifier.
- While holding down the [CH A] and [CH B] buttons, turn on the power.
- When all buttons except [POWER] blink twice slowly, release your finger from the [CH A] and [CH B] buttons.
All buttons except [POWER] blink twice rapidly. - Check the lit state of the [BST/MOD], [DELAY/FX], and [REVERB] buttons.
R: lit red, G: lit green, O-FL: blinking orange.
If the latest version is shown, no update is necessary. - Hold down the [POWER] button to turn off the power.
BTS for KATANA-AIR version
- Start the app.
- Tap SYSTEM > VERSION.
The version is displayed.
