No. The KATANA-AIR and KATANA-AIR EX detect vibration, not audio signals, to wake from standby mode.
When no vibration is detected for a certain period of time, the unit automatically enters standby mode. If the transmitter detects vibration while both the amp and transmitter are in standby mode, they automatically turn on (Wake Up On).
Note:
- The automatic standby function cannot be disabled.
- If the transmitter is connected to a fixed device such as an effects unit, vibration must be applied manually to wake it from standby mode.
