You can restore the factory settings of the FP-2 by performing a factory reset.
Note: Executing “Factory Reset” results in deletion of the Settings. If you want to keep any data you have stored, use the “Bulk Dump” operation to save the data to an external sequencer. See "Transferring the FP-2’s Settings to an External MIDI Device (Bulk Dump)" in the FP-2 Owner's Manual.
- Turn off the power.
- Hold down the [Reverb] button, and press the [Power] switch to turn on the power.
Continue pressing the button until “Fct” appears in the display.
“Fct” appears in the display, and the button’s indicators flash for several seconds.
Then, the screen and buttons go back to normal.
