You can reset your XS-1HD to its default settings using the menu on HDMI output 4:
Menu > System > Factory Reset > Execute
If HDMI output 4 does not display the menu when the Menu button is lit green, follow these steps to reset it without seeing the menu:
- Press the Menu button
- Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) about 10 clicks
- When you rotate the knobs, notice how they click
- Rotate the Cursor knob counter-clockwise (to the left) one click
- Press the Enter button (next to menu)
- Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) about 20 clicks
- When you rotate the knobs, notice how they click
- Press the Enter button
- Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) 1 click
- Press the Enter button
- The XS-1HD panel should start flashing
- Shortly after that, you should see menu output on HDMI output 4
- Note that all your settings are now at their default
