There are two different external designs for the KATANA:GO corresponding to the period in which they are sold. This manual only features illustrations for one of these designs, but there is no difference in functionality or sound quality between the two. For details, see “About the external design of the KATANA:GO” (BOSS website).

When you connect the KATANA:GO and your mobile device via Bluetooth, you can play your guitar along with the songs playing on your mobile device.

To pair the KATANA:GO and mobile device, perform the steps below:

Press the [] (Bluetooth) button.

NOTE:
If you have previously connected via Bluetooth Audio, "CONNECTING" will appear and the device will connect automatically.
If a message prompting you to pair appears after "CONNECTING," follow the pairing procedure.
When "DISCONNECTED" appears, press the [] (Bluetooth) button again.
When "PAIRING" appears, turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.

NOTE: If the unit is connected to BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA:GO, "♪:× MIDI:〇" will appear instead.
Tap “KATANA:GO AUDIO” that’s shown in the Bluetooth screen of your mobile device.

This pairs this unit with your mobile device.
When pairing is completed, “♪:〇” appears in the display.
Play a song on your mobile device.

MEMO: To temporarily disconnect, long-press the [] (Bluetooth) button. The connection is re-established when you turn the power on again. When unpairing, delete the registration data on your mobile device.
