When your mobile device is online and the Bluetooth feature is turned on, tapping on 'Connect piano' on the connection screen of the Roland Piano App will start searching for a nearby piano that can be connected.
However, if the Roland Piano App displays the "You are not connected" screen, or shows a different piano model when another Bluetooth MIDI compatible piano is nearby, the piano may already be connected to the app on a different mobile device. This can occur even when "MIDI" is shown next to the Bluetooth symbol on the piano's display.

Disconnect the piano from the Bluetooth settings on the currently connected mobile device. Then, connect to the piano using the Roland Piano App on the intended mobile device. The following video introduces the troubleshooting steps.
