The tones you play with the onboard keyboard of the KIYOLA KF-10 can be selected from the panel or from an external MIDI application, such as a DAW. However, if you specify the tone by sending MIDI messages from a DAW, the sound played from the piano keyboard will depend on the SMF Play Mode setting.
If you want to play the piano with the tone specified from the DAW, you need to perform the following operations:
-
Send Bank Select (CC00, CC32) and Program Change messages from the DAW via MIDI Channel 4
Refer to "Tone List" in the DP603 / FP-10 / GP607 / HP / KF-10 / LX / RP102 MIDI Implementation for specific Bank Selects and Program Changes. -
Set the SMF Play Mode to "Internal"
Hold down the [Function] button and press the C7 key.
Refer to "Other Function" in the KIYOLA KF-10 Owner's Manual.
