If the BRIDGE CAST X does not power on when using USB bus power from your computer, or if the unit does not operate properly, please check the following points.
Computer’s USB port:
The USB Type-A port on a computer does not provide enough power for the BRIDGE CAST X to operate correctly. Use the included USB cable (USB Type-C to USB Type-C, without the “POWER” tag) to connect to a USB port that can supply 5 V/3 A, or use a USB PD-compatible AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A) to supply power.
If the USB port does not supply enough power, the POWER indicator will not light up.
USB cable:
Be sure to use the included USB cable (USB Type-C to USB Type-C, without the “POWER” tag) that came with the BRIDGE CAST X.
Even if the above conditions are met, if the unit operates unstably or if your computer only has USB Type-A ports, connect a USB PD-compatible AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A) to the POWER IN port. For details, refer to “Supplying power to this unit” in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner’s Manual, or the related FAQ “Can I connect the BRIDGE CAST X to a computer’s USB Type-A port?”
