Connecting the GA-FC

Connect the GA-FC to the Gigcaster 5's FOOT SW jack on the back panel.
Note: When connecting, make sure to use stereo cables only. This is also known as a balanced or TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) cable.

Here’s how to specify that the GA-FC is connected to the FOOT SW jack.
- On the home screen, touch <
> (MENU button). The MENU screen appears.
- Touch <FOOT SW> and then <GENERAL> on the left of the screen.
- In FOOT SW, select "GA-FC."
Note: Select "GA-FC" if using a GA-FC EX controller.

There are four groups (A–D) each for the switches (PEDAL 1–6) and the expression pedals (EXP 1, 2). You can assign functions to each group and control them at the same time.
- Touch <GA-FC>.
- Touch a control from <PEDAL1> to <EXP2> to select the switch or expression pedal for which you want to set the function.
- Touch <A>–<D> to select a group.
- Edit the parameter’s value to the desired settings.
