LX-9, LX-6, LX-5: Can I record while playing a rhythm pattern?

The LX-9, LX-6, and LX-5 offer different rhythm patterns in a variety of genres. To record your performance while playing a rhythm pattern, select "Audio" as the recording mode in Function mode.

• Audio recording (including playback): You can record with the rhythm pattern sounding.
• SMF recording (including playback): The rhythm pattern cannot be used. The rhythm pattern will switch to the metronome sound.

Follow the steps below to set the recording mode:

1. Connect a USB flash drive to the USB Memory port.
2. Press the [] button.
   The [] button is lit, and the piano is in Function mode.
3. Use the [-] [+] buttons to select "Recording Mode", and press the [] button.
4. Use the [-] [+] buttons to select "Audio".
5. Press the [] button to exit Function mode.
   The [] button goes dark.
