Roland Cloud: Using Roland Cloud Manager (Education Program)

This document is for instructors and tutors using Roland Cloud as part of the Roland Cloud Education Program.

The Roland Cloud Manager installs instruments and sounds. All teacher/tutor education accounts are Ultimate memberships, which includes most things in the Roland Cloud Manager. Note: Roland Cloud plugins are not standalone and require either the included plugin host, Galaxias, or a Digital Audio Workstation.

1. The Roland Cloud Manager uses navigation bars on top and left. To begin, choose the Software tab at the top.
2. Next, choose the Legendary tab and the Select All tab. This will show all the Legendary plugin downloads. It is recommended to install the Legendary instruments first.
3. Click the download arrows on each instrument to install. Legendary instruments are part of the Ultimate account. The dollar amounts on each are for perpetual license purchase (Lifetime Key). These can be ignored.
4. Clicking on an individual instrument on the left shows the download link as well as available patch collections. These patches are also part of the Ultimate Membership and will install into the plugin automatically when downloaded.
5. Once the Legendary Plugins are installed, install ZENOLOGY.
   ZENOLOGY is multi-purpose plugin that contains a vast number of sounds and expansions. It can also be used as an effects plugin. It has many of the sounds that are in Roland hardware instruments. Navigate to the ZENOLOGY tab.
6. The System-8 is a powerful and flexible synth in the AIRA category. Choose AIRA under the Software instrument tab, then choose SYSTEM-8 on the left.
7. To see what has been installed and what is available, click the My Library tab on the top right.
   You can search and install any instruments/sounds from this page. You can uninstall by clicking the three dots on the right side of each title.
