KATANA ARTIST GEN 3: Can I reorder the FX Chain?

Yes. When connected to BOSS TONE STUDIO (BTS) for KATANA Gen 3, you are able to move certain FX blocks to certain positions.
* BTS can be downloaded here. It is compatible with every version of the GEN 3 Katana range/series.

Remember to check that you have installed the latest System Program on your Katana Gen 3, and that you have the correct drivers installed on your Windows or macOS computer. These are available from the same BTS web link above.

1. Once you have BTS installed and your Katana GEN 3 connected to your computer, you should see the main BTS window as below.
   Each FX block, can be dragged to one or more, pre-designated positions in the chain.
2. Move your cursor to the dotted block above a pedal, click and then drag to a position in the chain where a dot is shown.
   Here's an example from the same chain, but with the FX blocks reordered.
   This allows for more flexibility when creating your custom tone settings for each channel.
   Note, that you cannot move DLY2 and REVERB.
