We recommend that you check the keyboard vibration settings.
The LX708 is equipped with a keyboard vibration function that provides a response unique to a grand piano. When the keyboard vibration setting meets the following conditions, a piano-like sound may be heard from the unit.
［Haptic Key Vibration］
- Vibration Level: Extra Large
- Effect When Headphones Plugged: Effective
- Headphones volume: 50 or louder
If the Vibration Level is set to “Off” and no sound is heard from the unit, this is not a malfunction.
In case the sound caused by keyboard vibration is annoying you, please set the Vibration Level to “Standard” or lower.

Perform the following procedure.
- Press the [
] button.
- The [] button is lit, and the piano is in function mode. - Turn the [
] knob to select “Haptic Key Vibration.” - Press the [] knob to confirm.
- Turn the [] knob to select “Vibration Level.”
- Press the [] knob to confirm.
- Turn the [] knob to change the value.
Value: Off, Small, Standard, Large, Extra Large - Press the [] button to exit function mode.
- The [] button goes dark.
