Audio files can be imported from a computer to the Sound Pads using the Gigcaster 8 App for Windows or macOS. The Gigcaster 8 includes 16 GB of internal memory for the Sound Pads.
The following article guides through how to delete audio files that were uploaded to the Sound Pads--in the event that the internal memory becomes full.

Deleting Audio Files From the Sound Pads
- With the Gigcaster 8 turned off, hold down the [
] button, and push [
] switch.
After a short interval, the message "PREPARING..." appears on the display. - Connect the Gigcaster 8 to the computer with a USB cable.
Once connected, the message "CONNECTED." appears on the display. A "GCS-8_INT" icon (drive) appears on the computer. - Open the "GCS-8_INT" icon.
- Open the "ROLAND" folder and then "SMPL" folder.
- Delete the desired WAV file(s).
- When complete, eject the "GCS-8_INT" icon(drive) from the computer:
- With a Windows computer
Right-click on the "GCS-8_INT" icon in My Computer (or the "Removable Disk (*:)" icon) and execute "Eject." - With a Mac computer
Drag the "GCS-8_INT" icon to the Trash icon in the Dock.
- With a Windows computer
- Push the [
] switch to turn off the power.
