On the JUNO-D series, Split and Dual (Layer) settings are saved as a Scene. If you want to register Split or Dual settings to FAVORITE, or recall them again even after turning the power off and on, be sure to save them as a Scene.
Note:
The SPLIT function divides the keyboard into left and right parts for performance.
If you want to assign different octave or semitone pitch settings to each part, this is done by adjusting the pitch settings for each part individually, which is different from the SPLIT button operation.

Refer to the videos above, or use the following steps to complete the operation.
Saving a Scene
- Press the [WRITE] button.
The WRITE Menu screen appears. -
Move the cursor to “SCENE WRITE” and press the [ENTER] button.
A name input screen appears.Note: When an asterisk is shown for the scene or the tone/drum kit, the following screen appears. In this case, select “YES” to save the tone/drum kit first, and then save the scene. Saving the scene first causes the tone/drum kit data you edited to be lost.
- To rename the scene, enter characters as shown in the instructions at the bottom of the screen.
- After naming, press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the value dial to choose a save destination, then press [ENTER].
A confirmation message appears. - To cancel, press the [EXIT] button.
- Move the cursor to “WRITE” and press [ENTER] again.
The Scene is saved.
Important: Do not turn off the power while the display shows “Processing...” .
