LX708, LX706, LX705: Restore Factory Settings

To return your LX708/LX706/LX705 to its factory settings, use the following procedure.

Note: A Factory Reset will erase all of the settings that you have stored, and returns them to the factory-set condition. Any files saved to the internal memory, or on a connected USB drive, will not be erased.

To double check the panel descriptions for the SETTINGS, SELECT/CONFIRM and BACK functions, please read pages 4 and 5 of the LX708 LX706 LX705 Owner's Manual.

1. Press the SETTINGS button.
   The SETTINGS button is lit, and the piano is in function mode.
2. Turn the SELECT/CONFIRM knob to access “Factory Reset” screen and then press the SELECT/CONFIRM knob.
   A confirmation message appears.
   If you decide to cancel, press the BACK button.
3. Turn the SELECT/CONFIRM knob to select “Yes,” and press the SELECT/CONFIRM knob to confirm.
   The memory is reset to its factory values.
   Note: Never turn off the power while the screen indicates “Executing...”
4. Turn the power off, then on again.
