Roland digital piano pedals use different materials depending on their finish:
- Gold-finish pedals: Made of brass
- Silver-finish pedals: Made of plated metal
Care and Maintenance
- If you’ve played the pedals with your bare feet, or if moisture or dust has gotten on the pedals, wipe them with a clean and soft cloth.
- The pedals may become slightly brown or black due to natural oxidation, exposure to skin and so on. If the discoloration becomes noticeable, use a commercially available non-abrasive metal polisher for brass (or plated metal finish) surfaces.
