Pressing the octave keys on the back of the Aerophone Pro AE-30 shifts the octave according to the settings. If the octave does not change, check the following points.

An unintended key may be pressed:
The octave may not change if a key outside the correct fingering is pressed. See the related Q&A, "Even though my fingering is correct, the pitches are not changing correctly." -
The fingering mode may be set to "Clarinet":
In Clarinet fingering mode, the octave keys are used for fingering other notes, so the octave may not change. Try a fingering mode other than Clarinet.
