The M-48 supports 802.3af and 802.3at POE (power over ethernet) and can be power using an POE injector or repeater. These can be found online.
The power requirements for the M-48s are as follows:
- 48V, 13W
- Mode B devices only - meaning it takes power on pins 4,5 and 7,8.
(Mode A assumes power on 1-2 and 3-6 and is not supported)
