R-4 Pro: The unit does not automatically jam to external timecode for each recording

The R-4 Pro does not automatically jam to an external timecode source each time recording starts.

To synchronize the R-4 Pro with an external device (such as a camera), you must manually perform a Jam EXT operation. This updates the R-4 Pro’s internal timecode so that it matches the incoming external timecode.

Before performing this operation, make sure that the external timecode signal is connected to the TIMECODE connector.

Procedure

1. Press [SYSTEM].
2. Select 6 Time Code.
3. Select Set Int TC.
4. Select Jam EXT.
