After setting the IP, Subnet and Gateway, be sure to cycle the power on your AR-3000. When it reboots, it should be ready for FTP and Telnet. If it still won't work, be sure to check whether the IP address you set is being used by another machine on your network. Some managed networks also employ severe limits on new machines that appear on the network. You may need to contact your network administrator to ensure that your selected IP is valid and that your AR-3000 has permission to operate on your network.
