Here's how to export a LIVESET you've created in BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA (BTS). This is useful for sharing LIVESETS and backing up your custom tone settings to a computer.
Note: A LIVESET is a collection of one or more tone setting located in the LIBRARIAN section of BTS.
- Open the BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA (BTS) on your Windows/macOS computer.
The latest versions of BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA (BTS), the system program, and the USB driver can be downloaded from the link below:
https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/katana-50/updates_drivers/
For Windows: Please install Adobe AIR before installing BTS. See "BOSS TONE STUDIO: Installing Adobe AIR (Windows)". - In TONE STUDIO screen, click the [LIBRARIAN] button.
- Click the liveset that you want to export to your computer.
- At the top of the TONE STUDIO screen, click the [Export] button.
The “Export” dialog box appears. - Enter a name and save-destination, and click the [Save] button.
The message “Completed.” appears. - Click the [OK] button.
A LIVESET of patches will be saved as a .TSL (TONE STUDIO LIBRARIAN) file on your computer.
LIVESET files can be stored on your local computer, uploaded to cloud storage, sent by email to other KATANA users, or shared via BOSS TONE EXCHANGE.
