On the SR-20HD, while uploading a still image to "Still 1" might be straight forward with your SDXC card, "Still 2" has a different approach to uploading an image file.
In order to save an image to still 2, it has to be captured from one of your sources, whether it be HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, Still 1, or your SRT input.
Capturing a Still Image:
This Captures a still image from the HDMI IN 1-2, STILL 1/SRT In video source and assigns it to the [STILL 2] button.
Note
- All audio stops during the capture
- Depending on the format of the input videom it may take some time for the capture to finish
- [MENU] button > "Import" > select "Input Capture", and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select "Capture Source", and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select the video source from which to capture, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select "Execute", and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
When the operation is finished, the message "capture completed" appears. - Press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to close the message.
- Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.
After performing these steps, your still image should be then stored under "Still 2"
Assigning the video capture function to the VIDEO FUNCTIONS buttons:
- [MENU] button > “Scene/Video Function” > “Scene/ Video Function A–E” > select “Mode”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select “Video Function”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select “Type”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select the function to assign to a button, and then press the [VALUE/ CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select a menu item, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to change the value of the setting, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
- Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.
