V-160HD: Can I embed audio input from an analog audio jack into an HDMI signal?

Yes. You can overlay (embed) the audio input from the AUDIO IN 1, 2, 3/L or 4/R jacks to HDMI or SDI video output.

Follow the steps below.

1. [MENU] button -> “AUDIO OUTPUT” -> select “HDMI/SDI AUDIO ENBEDDED,” and press the [VALUE] knob.
2. Select the HDMI or SDI embedded audio channel and press the [VALUE] knob.
3. Select the input audio you wish to assign to the channel and press the [VALUE] knob.
4. Use the [VALUE] knob to select the input audio, and press the [VALUE] knob.
5. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “DRY” or “WET,” and press the [VALUE] knob.
6. Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.
   - The audio including channel 3–8 embedded audio is output from the HDMI OUT 1–3 connectors or the SDI OUT 1–3 connectors.
