FP-60: How to Perform a Factory Reset (Restore Default Settings)

Performing a factory reset returns all settings stored in the FP-60 to their factory condition.

Note: This operation does not erase the data in the internal memory or on a separately sold USB memory device.
If you wish to delete all data in the internal memory or USB memory, refer to the related Q&A: “How can I erase all data saved in internal memory or on a USB flash drive?”

Follow the steps below.

1. Press the [Function] button, then use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select “Factory Reset.”
2. Press the [Function] button again, then use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select “Format Media.”
3. Press the [Exit] button.

4. Press the [▶] button to select “Yes,” and then press the [Function] (Enter) button.
   The factory reset will be executed.

   While “Executing...” is shown on the display, do not turn off the power under any circumstances.

5. When the process is complete, turn the power off and on again.
