A word about Patterns:
Patterns are used to store different sequences inside of the TR-8. They are automatically saved, and retain information such as Last Step and Scale. Changing patterns is as simple as hitting PTN SELECT, then a pattern of your choice. Pattern changes are cued so that they switch in time upon the end of the previous pattern.
Selecting Multiple Patterns:
Playing a range of patterns is simple and straightforward. In PTN SELECT mode, press and hold the start pattern. Then, press the desired end pattern. The change in color indicates the range of patterns ready for playback. The blinking pad indicates the current pattern being played. This range of patterns will now play and loop sequentially.
