BOSS Effects Pedals plug-in allows you to use classic BOSS pedal sounds in your DAW.
You can download it via the Roland Cloud Manager app. Follow the steps below.
- Install Roland Cloud Manager (Windows/macOS).
- Start the Roland Cloud Manager, and then click "Sign in."
-If you have not yet created an account, click "Sign up" to create an account. - Sign in to Roland Cloud.
-If you need to change the language settings for Roland Cloud Manager, see the related Q&A "How to Change the Language in Roland Cloud Manager" for details. - Click Software Instruments > Software Effects > BOSS Effects Pedals > Download button.
Note: If "Software Instruments" is not displayed, please turn off the View Filter switch at the top of the screen (move it to the left). - Download and installation starts.
If it is displayed like this, you have already downloaded it. -
Add the plug-in to your DAW by scanning or locating the VST plug-in folder.
The plug-in is usually installed in the following location:- Windows:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Roland\BOSS Effects Pedals - macOS:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Roland/BOSS Effects Pedals.vst3
Add the plug-in to an audio track in your DAW after it has been detected.
