This article explains how to install EARTH Piano using Roland Cloud Manager (RCM) and open it as a software instrument in Logic Pro. It also includes troubleshooting steps to follow if EARTH Piano does not appear in Logic Pro after installation.
Installing EARTH Piano
Note: EARTH Piano is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats. On macOS, Logic Pro uses the AU version.
- Open Roland Cloud Manager.
- Click Software Instruments at the top of Roland Cloud Manager.
- Select Earth from the available categories.
- Scroll down to find EARTH Piano.
- On the thumbnail for Earth Piano, click the download arrow.
- Once the installation is complete, EARTH Piano will be available to use in Logic Pro.
Opening EARTH Piano in Logic Pro
- Open Logic Pro.
- Create a new Software Instrument track.
- Click the Instrument slot on the channel strip.
- Go to AU Instruments.
- Select Roland.
- Choose EARTH Piano.
If EARTH Piano does not appear in Logic Pro:
- Go to Logic Pro > Settings > Plug-in Manager.
- Locate EARTH Piano under the Roland manufacturer listing.
- If the plug-in appears but is not available in your project, select it and click Reset & Rescan Selection.
- If it still does not appear, click Full Audio Unit Reset, then close and reopen Logic Pro.
