Installing EARTH Piano
- Open Roland Cloud Manager.
- Click Software Instruments at the top of Roland Cloud Manager.
- Select Earth from the available categories.
- Scroll down to find EARTH Piano.
- On the thumbnail for Earth Piano, click the download arrow.
- Once the installation is complete, EARTH Piano will be available to use in Ableton Live.
Note: EARTH Piano is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats. On macOS, Ableton Live can use AU or VST3 on macOS, and VST3 on Windows.
Opening EARTH Piano in Ableton Live
- Open Ableton Live.
- Create a new MIDI track. Shortcut = Mac:
Cmd + Shift + TPC:Ctrl + Shift + T - Open the Ableton Live Browser.
- Go to Plug-ins.
- Search for EARTH Piano.
- Drag EARTH Piano onto the MIDI track.
- EARTH Piano should now open and be ready to use.
If EARTH Piano does not appear in Ableton Live:
- Open Options > Settings (PC) or Settings (Mac)
- Go to Plug-ins.
- Make sure the correct plug-in folders are enabled.
- On macOS, enable Audio Units and/or VST3.
- On Windows, enable VST3.
- Click Rescan. Ableton also notes that holding ALT/Option while clicking Rescan performs a deeper rescan of installed plug-ins.
- Check the Ableton Live Browser again under Plug-ins.
