No. On the Roland S-1, the internal effects (chorus, delay, reverb) only apply to the S-1's own tones. Audio connected to the MIX IN jack passes straight through to the MIX OUT jack without being processed by these effects.
If you want to add effects to audio connected to MIX IN, use an external effects unit before connecting that audio to the MIX IN jack.
