You can change the individual sounds or instruments of a DRUM track by doing the following:
1. Press the [SEL] button of the DRUM track whose instrument you want to change.
2. Press the PAD MODE [NOTE] button so that it is lit.
3. Hold down [SHIFT] and then press [SOUND] (EDIT). You can also hold down [SHIFT] and then the pad of the instrument you wish to change.
4. Once the pad is selected, it remains lit (red) and the corresponding pad is highlighted on the screen.
5. Press [ENTER].
6. Use the cursor [<] [>] buttons to select INST SELECT and then press [ENTER].
7. Use the cursor [∧] [∨] buttons to select PRESET and then press [ENTER].
8. Use the [<] [>] and [∧] [∨] buttons to select the new instrument.
9. Press [ENTER] to confirm the selection and load the new instrument onto the track.
10. Press [EXIT] twice to return to the main screen.
