TR-626: Recording a pattern in real time on the TR-626

Use the following procedure to record a pattern in real time on the TR-626:

1. Stop the TR-626 by pressing START/STOP if it is playing.
2. While holding down SHIFT, press MODE until TAP WRITE is displayed.
3. Use the Pattern Group keys to select D, E or F.
   To clear a pattern, hold CLEAR and press a pattern button 1-16.
   To select a pattern, press a pattern button 1-16.
4. Press START/STOP to start the pattern.
5. Press the INSTRUMENT/METRONOME button to turn on or off the metronome.
6. Press the relevant pads to trigger the sound and record the pattern.
