The MIC IN jack on the E-4 supports an unbalanced dynamic microphone only.
MIC IN jack specifications:
- Connector: 1/4-inch TRS phone type
- Input level: -68 to -38 dBu (maximum -20 dBu)
- Input impedance: approx. 13 kilohms
Note: A condenser microphone that requires phantom power cannot be connected directly to the E-4. To use one, connect it through an external mic preamp or a phantom power box between the microphone and the E-4.
