MC-101: Can I transmit note messages by playing the pads?

Yes.
- This function is supported in system version 1.20 and later.

  MC-101 SYSTEM PROGRAM

Perform the following procedure.
- Refer also to “MC-101 Update.”

1. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the TRACK SEL [1]-[4] button of the track whose setting you want to change.
   - The setting screen appears.
2. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “TRACK(MIDI):TRK* Tx Note.”
3. Press the [VALUE] knob to move the cursor to the value of the setting, and then turn the [VALUE] knob to specify "ON."
4. Press the [VALUE] knob to return the cursor.
5. Turn the [VALUE] knob toward the left to see the port that transmits note messages (TxMIDI Out, TxUSB MIDI).
6. Press the [VALUE] knob to move the cursor to the value of the setting, and then turn the [VALUE] knob to specify "ON."
