You can use a commercially available USB flash drive with the TR-1000.
Note: Be sure to use a USB flash drive that is 64 GB or less and formatted in FAT or FAT32.
The USB flash drive can be used for the following purposes:
- Import audio files
- Export/Import a pattern or kit
- Backup/Restore data
To use a USB flash drive, format it on the TR-1000.
- Press the [MENU] button so it’s lit.
The MENU screen appears. - Use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “UTILITY”, and press the [ENTER] button.
- Select “FORMAT” with the [C6/VALUE] knob.
- Press the [ENTER] button.
A confirmation message appears. - Use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “OK”, and press the [ENTER] button.
To cancel, use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “CANCEL”, and press the [ENTER] button.
