The Roland TR-1000 supports commercially available USB flash drives with a capacity of 64 GB or less. The USB flash drive is used for the backup, restore, import, and export functions.
To use a USB flash drive, connect it to the USB EXTERNAL DEVICE port and format it on the TR-1000 (MENU > UTILITY > FORMAT).
