TR-1000: How do I download, install, and start the TR-1000 App?

You can download TR-1000 App from Roland Cloud Manager.

Note:

• Please install the USB driver before launching the TR-1000 App.

• We recommend using the latest version of Roland Cloud Manager. After launching Roland Cloud Manager, click "Update" to check for any available updates.

Follow the steps below.

1. Install Roland Cloud Manager (Windows/macOS).

   For details on installing, refer to "Roland Cloud: How do I install Roland Cloud Manager?".

2. Start the Roland Cloud Manager, and then click "Sign in".
   -If you have not yet created an account, click "Join now" to create an account.
   -If you need to change the language settings for Roland Cloud Manager, refer to "Roland Cloud: How to Change the Language in Roland Cloud Manager" for details.

3. Click "Hardware Instruments" > AIRA & DANCE > TR-1000 > Download button.

   

   -If you can't see "AIRA & DANCE", it might be disabled in the View Filter. See "Roland Cloud: How do I view content for Roland, BOSS, and DWe products in the Roland Cloud Manager app?" to enable it.

   The download and installation starts.

   If it is displayed like this, you have already downloaded it.

   

4. Connect the TR-1000's USB COMPUTER port to a computer with the included USB cable (Type-C® to Type-C®).

   * It is recommended to connect the unit directly to a USB port on your computer instead of using a USB hub.

5. Start TR-1000 App.

   • Windows: Find the icon on the desktop, or click the Start icon (or press the Windows logo key on your keyboard) > Open the Roland folder > Click the TR-1000 App.

   • macOS: Enter the application name in Spotlight to search for it. For more details, see View and open apps on Mac on Apple’s website.
