The TR-1000 features an analog sound source with 16 sounds that recreate those of the TR-808 and TR-909. You can use the following:
- TR-808 : Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Low Tom, High Tom, Rim Shot, Hand Clap, Closed Hi-Hat, Open Hi-hat, Cymbal, Cowbell
- TR-909 : Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Low Tom, High Tom, Rim Shot, Hand Clap
Note: Although there is no Mid Tom, the TR-1000 extends the tuning range of the Low Tom and High Tom, enabling you to adjust either one to the pitch of a Mid Tom. Set the Low Tom to 128 or higher, or the High Tom to 128 or lower, and fine-tune as needed.
