When the TR-1000 is synchronized with external MIDI devices, you might experience a slight sound latency. This occurs because the TR-1000 plays all tracks in sync, and the playback timing depends on the track that requires the longest processing time. To reduce latency, you can disable synchronization between tracks so that each track triggers independently.
Note: Synchronization between GENs within Layer tracks will remain active.
If you set Track Sync to Layered Gens, each track will trigger as quickly as possible. However, synchronization between tracks will be disabled, so choose this setting according to your intended use.
Follow the steps below to change the Track Sync setting:
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “PROJECT”, then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the [C3/SCROLL] knob to select “Track Sync”.
- Use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “Layered Gens”.
- Press the [EXIT] button.
- Use the [C6/VALUE] knob to select “OK”, then press the [ENTER] button to save the setting.
